Supervision

Supervision and supervision training for spiritual directors

Supervision

To practice in compliance with Spiritual Directors International’s Guidelines for Ethical Conductthose offering spiritual direction must receive regular supervision.

I offer both individual and group supervision to spiritual directors using the Together in the Mystery supervision process, one that cultivates self-compassion, employs contemplative pauses, and evokes fresh experience from supervisees.

In addition, since 2009 I have trained other spiritual directors to offer Together in the Mystery supervision throughout the U.S. and, more recently. at Manresa Jesuit Centre of Spirituality in Ireland, in partnership with St. Patrick’s Pontifical University, Maynooth.

I designed and currently direct and teach in the Advanced Certificate in Supervision Program at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education.

For more information about both academic and non-academic supervisor training, please visit Together in the Mystery: Supervisor Training for Spiritual Directors using the button below and/or Fordham GRE’s Advance Certificate in Supervision page.
